With two kids, you sometimes need to get away from it all. I love my kids to bits, but sometimes I need to remind myself that I am not only a mom but also a woman and a wife. So this weekend I went on a romantic, gastronomic weekend with my hubby.
We are re-building and re-decorating our house, so money is thight. Luckely for us, my dad treated us on a weekend of gastronomic eating in Durbuy. Durbuy is a little village in 'Les Ardennes' where you have a ton of walking routes in the forest and even more restaurants. We went to 'Sanglier des Ardennes' for a gastronomic five course dinner with lobster, all kinds of delicious food combinations and assorted wines.
After a good night's sleep at 'Azur en Ardennes' we went back for brunch and a strawl around the old village of Durbuy -don't wear high heels. Batteries loaded, romance rekindled and ready for another working week, we went back home...
Next week I will organise a Frozen-Party for a five-year-old. I will blog party ideas, decorating tips and how to keep a dozen five-year-old girls happy...
